FCLA was founded in 2009 by Roderick Blair to promote and place emphasis on the importance of “FAMILY”, which is the foundation of any healthy community.
Our goal is to work with people to promote family, the benefits family, and the power of collective efforts. We also work with other non-profit organizations that already have a niche in social categories that match our purpose and are beneficial to the public.
Family Community and Leadership in Action, Inc’s (FCLA) mission: is to emphasize the awareness of individual self worth, creativity, and purpose. We serve to provide support to other charitable organizations and establish a firm foundation for which the youth may stand.
We mentor young people by providing them with support, friendship, reinforcement and positive constructive examples. We work closely with other organizations to help young people excel, define and achieve their goals. We have been feeding the homeless as part of the coalition to preserve human dignity (CPHD) since our founding in 2009.
